Door Installation Step 3

Adjustment

If door is hard to operate in both directions:

Door is out of plumb. Loosen the two bolts on the cam at the top of the door, shim the door out until plumb using 1/16" plastic shims supplied with the door and re-tighten the bolts.

If door is hard to operate in one direction:

Cam or bottom bearing is not square or level and is binding on shaft. Loosen cam and bottom bearing bolts. Allow door to reseat and tighten bolts.

Cam holes not level. Lift door off cam using spacer block. Loosen cam bolts, lift cam on side of door that would not close and tighten bolts.

If door does not fully close:

Bottom air seal is dragging. Hold air seal using needle nose pliers and trim and trim with razor knife to floor contour.

If doors do not meet in center or single door does not close in one direction only:

Confirm absence of wind or negative air pressure at opening. If not, jambs are not parallel. Use half-shims behind one side of cam to align each door.
