The Elite Model features specially formulated semi-rigid PVC extrusions similar
to those used in the Ultra-Lite model for the framework only they are a lighter duty
design. The door-body is 1 1/4" thick instead of 1 3/4". The air seals are
optional.
The extrusions are ultrasonically welded to the ABS color facings for a
permanent bond so the entire door-body is unitized but still semi-rigid. Closed-cell foam
is provided for an insulated core. A thicker Model like the Ultra-Lite or Poly-Kor is
recommended in medium-temp (33 - 45 degree) cooler applications.
"EZ Hang" offset pivot hardware is included which allows 125 degree
swing of the door in either direction.
The Elite is good for personnel and cart traffic applications where aesthetics
is important. It is for medium-duty traffic applications where you want the look and feel
of a thicker door but also want the easy opening of a lightweight door. (It is not
recommended for air pressure/wind applications). It is ideal for restaurants and other
ambient temperature applications.
