The Poly-Kor XHD Model features a continuously welded tubular aluminum frame for
light weight, good durability and the best dimensional stability. Rigid closed-cell foam
insulation is provided between the extrusions for energy savings. ABS plastic facings are
then riveted to this framework.
The door-body is welded to an aluminum style and is secured to the one-piece
V-cam hardware shaft with rivets through the shaft, stile and full-height aluminum mounts.
Teardrop rubber or polyethylene (for USDA) 42" high bumpers are included at
the bottom for load impact-protection.
This construction provides excellent visibility, distortion-free
corrosion-resistant door panels that can be made for large openings and wash-down areas.
