The Ultra-Lite door construction features unique semi-rigid PVC extrusions for
the framework. The extrusions are ultrasonically welded to the ABS color facings for a
permanent bond so the entire door-body is unitized yet still semi-rigid. Closed-cell foam
is provided for an insulated core.
Air seals are presently a combination of fabric-reinforced looped vinyl and
non-reinforced extruded neoprene blades.
The Ultra-Lite is also unique because you can choose from either the "EZ
Hang" offset pivot hardware, which is standard on this model, or the 3/4" rise
cam hardware attached to a sectional shaft. The EZ Hang hardware with its narrow depth
mounting hardware makes the Ultra-Lite a natural for narrow-jamb cooler box applications.
The Ultra-Lite is the full-thickness insulated RubbAir door with the best
aesthetics, easiest installation and good durability.
